Meet the Harvest Rain Team
The Harvest Rain team may be small – and that’s intentional. Keeping our company focused and hands-on allows us to stay closely involved in the quality, design, installation, and long-term service of the systems we build across Texas.
From the front office to project coordination to field installation and long-term service support, every member of our team plays a role in helping property owners build practical, reliable rainwater infrastructure tailored to their goals, budget, and property needs.
While you may not see our full field crew pictured here, they are at the very heart of what we do. Most of our team has been with Harvest Rain for years and bring deep hands-on experience to every project.
As a Texas-based company, we understand the unique demands of designing rainwater systems for properties across the state, from Hill Country homes to rural ranches and everything in between.
Meet the team below, and don’t hesitate to reach out. We genuinely enjoy helping people better understand rainwater systems and what approach may be the best fit for their property.
James Grizzard
James Grizzard was born in Austin and raised in San Antonio. James has over 17 years of experience installing and designing water conservation systems and has received state and national awards for rainwater system design.
Working closely with builders, architects, and developers, James specializes in commercial, municipal, and community projects.
James is also an avid San Antonio Spurs fan and hopes to one day challenge Manu Ginobili to 1V1.
JOSH TAVAREZ
Josh Tavarez was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University, and soon after joined Harvest Rain in 2015, as a member of the install crew.
After accumulating years of hands-on rainwater system install experience, Josh went on to become our Construction Manager successfully leading hundreds of installations. Now as Director of Operations, Josh oversees the big picture and keeps track of the details.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys spending time with friends and family, mountain biking, hunting, and running with his dog.
MICHAEL CLARK
If you choose Harvest Rain for a rainwater installation, you’ll have the pleasure of meeting our Construction Manager, Michael Clark.
Originally from Huntsville, TX, Michael attended Texas State in 2015 and dove into the rainwater industry immediately after graduation. His career with Harvest Rain began as a member of our installation crew and through dedication and an eye to both detail and exceptional customer service, Michael is now our Construction Manager.
Aside from work, Michael loves spending time with family and friends and you can often find him outside shooting hoops – ask him about his ultimate frisbee team!
MANDI MCMAHON
If you give us a ring, you’ll most likely speak with Mandi, our front office superstar!
Although I have spent the last few years succumbing to my “travel bug” as a former resident of Idaho and Ireland, I decided to come home. I’m a sixth-generation resident of Johnson City so our roots run deep in the land and Judy Garland said, “there’s no place like home.”
As the newest member of the Harvest Rain team, I face new and exciting aspects of the job every day! I enjoy speaking with people about their individual situations and how to incorporate rainwater collection into their daily lives; whether the goal is to have a safe and self-reliant water source in their home, or to provide chemical-free water to their livestock, rainwater provides an empowering alternative water source to sustain life in an ever-changing Texas landscape. When I’m not at the office, I’ll most likely be cheering on my daughter at an extracurricular activity for Johnson City Middle School or 4-H show. Ask me about our goats!
