Harvest Rain will be closed from December 24th – January 3rd.
Dear Harvest Rain Customers, Partners, and Friends,
First and foremost, I want to extend my gratitude to everyone who continues to rely on Harvest Rain for design work, new system installation, and service and maintenance. We take great pride in being the trusted source for all things rainwater amongst our ever-expanding customer base.
Whether you installed a system with Richard Heineken 25+ years ago or are new to rainwater collection and just installed your first system 2 weeks ago, we promise to provide a quick response to requests, professional communication and interaction, and expert level workmanship.
Our company has moved locations (two times…), welcomed new team members, expanded services, and grown rapidly over the past two years. Despite all the changes, we still see the same long-time customers walk into our office looking for maintenance advice, product replacement, and even new system installations at a new homesite. To our team, the consistency and commitment from our customer base mean we’re staying true to our company values even as we rapidly expand. Thank you.
As everyone is well aware… the past 18 months have presented serious challenges for what we consider “normal” operations. From the prolonged global pandemic to the abnormally cold Texas winter and deep freeze last February, it’s been tough to predict what will happen next. Through all of it, our team has shown remarkable resolve, outstanding work ethic, and a commitment to our customer base.
Our service team and office staff went above and beyond after the winter freeze, working nearly 20 days straight to repair damage and ensure our customers had operational water systems as quickly as possible. Our sales staff has been hard at work fielding the tremendous increase in requests for new quotes on rainwater systems, fire protection tanks, and whole-house backup generators. I could not be prouder of the efforts of the Harvest Rain staff over the past 18 months.
CHRISTMAS CLOSURE NOTICE
I feel it is critically important to recognize that effort by allowing my team a well-deserved break this upcoming holiday season. In that spirit, Harvest Rain will take a longer than usual pause in daily operations from December 24th – January 3rd to allow our employees rest and relaxation, travel and time with family.
We encourage our customers to contact our office over the next month for any service-related requests or retail products they may need before we shut down operations for our company-wide holiday “sabbatical.” While we plan to have a skeleton crew on-call for emergencies, it will be at a significantly lower capacity than in past years. (Hours and instructions for requesting emergency service during that week will be posted on the website once we get closer to the holiday break).
Lastly, I encourage all of our business partners and customers to take time for themselves as they are able to this holiday season. This year has taught our team a lot of lessons about the importance of family and personal health. As Central Texas continues to grow at a remarkable pace, we know the services we offer will continue to be in high demand in 2022. A period of rest and reflection is something we all deserve before revving the engine back up and hitting the ground running next year.
Happy Holidays to all, and we look forward to continuing to be the company you can rely on for all things Rainwater in 2022!
Sincerely,
James Grizzard
